Differences Characteristics of Partial Bowel Obstruction and Total Bowel Obstruction in Ileus Patients at Dr. Soegiri Lamongan Hospital

Background: Across all age ranges, one in a thousand people is diagnosed with ileus annually. Ileus categorized into two types, obstructive ileus, and paralytic ileus. Obstructive condition where intestinal passage disorder occurs as result of mechanical blockage. There are 7,024 without hernia Indonesia 7,059 cases 2004.Purpose: To understand the comparison characteristics patients.Method: This analytic descriptive research use cross-sectional method. Samples based on laparotomy from RSUD Dr. Soegiri, Lamongan. The sampling method total 2015-2019 data. samples were also using secondary data medical records, December 2019 to January 2020.Result: Respondents mostly male ages 65 years over, less than ten days treatment duration, 39 minutes average length partial bowel obstruction surgery 42 duration before surgery, percentage ICU admission high 51.5 %, blood transfusion 6.1%. significant differences patient’s (p-value 0,021).Conclusion: Based this study, it can be concluded that there patients, whereas gender, did not deliver any differences.
